Old places we once went,
Became a magnet with sweet intent.
The photographs once in black and white,
Send memories of love and light.
We walked under the moonlit floor,
We promised a *forevermore*.
Yet time unravelled golden threads,
Leaving silence where we once said.
Like the leaves that change and goes,
We turned our backs—that’s what we chose.
A season shifting, hearts untied,
Love let go beneath the sky.
Another season of fall has come,
We found ourselves staring under another sun.
Not planned, not sought, yet here we stand,
A fleeting moment, hearts in hand.
Our hearts started to beat like drums,
That same feeling when we first danced.
A melody rising, an echo bright—
Love returning in autumn light.
Now we walked under the lamplight,
We held hands, wishing a longer night.
The stars looked on; the air stood still—
A love reborn, a quiet thrill.
Chances are we have our differences,
But trust with love are our defences.
The melody of change opens all the odds,
Every sun and moon anywhere with you applaud.
